William Jackson Spruill

William "Jack" Jackson Spruill, passed away at Diversicare in Amory, MS, on May 4, 2023. He was born in Webster County, Mississippi on May 29, 1933, to William Lee Spruill and Euna Lee Harper Spruill.

Jack is survived by his son, William Allen Spruill (Susan) of Aberdeen, MS; a daughter, Shirley Faye Polk (Hughie) of Hamilton, MS; three sisters, Minnie Lee Bourgeois of Long Beach, Louise Lane, of Eupora, and Linda Rachel Vaughan of Carrollton; six grandchildren, Tina Ferguson, Pamela Lollar, Keisha Gavin, Kaylan Polk, Allyson Polk, and Chris Spruill; fifteen great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Lee and Euna Lee Harper Spruill; his wife, Eva Faye Williams Spruill; five brothers, Paul, Lester, Cleo, L.B., and Arthur Spruill; one grandchild, Christopher Allen Spruill.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Montevista Baptist Church on May 6, 2023, with services to follow at 2 p.m. Mr. Spruill will be buried in the Montevista Baptist Cemetery.
