William Tommy Ray

William Tommy Ray, aged 64, passed away on June 22, 2021 at Mississippi Veterans Nursing Home in Kosciusko, Mississippi. He was the son of the late Maston and Carrie Chesteen Ray and husband of Martha Frazier Ray.

Mr. Ray attended Eupora School. After working for Gulf States Manufacturers of Starkville, Mississippi, he drove a truck for Jimmy Maddox Trucking for approximately six years. He was retired from Mississippi National Guard with twenty years of service. He and his wife were married for forty-three years. He was a member of Walthall Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Frazier Ray; a son, William Tommy Ray of Eupora, Mississippi; a daughter, Stephanie Ray of Eupora, Mississippi; a brother, Maston Ray, Jr. of Calhoun City, Mississippi; a sister, Jean Bingham of the Clarkson Community in Mississippi; one aunt, Francis Moye of Alexandria, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Maston and Carrie Chesteen Ray and two sisters, Judy Gatlin and Debbie White.

A memorial service for Mr. William Tommy Ray will be held at a later date. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
