William Roy Holland

November 21, 1935 ~ May 12, 2025

William Roy Holland of Maben, Mississippi passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the age of 89 surrounded by family. Mr. Holland was born in Tallahatchie County, MS on November 21, 1935, to James Floyd and Willie Mary Gardner Holland.

Mr. Holland worked at Jim's Auto Parts in Eupora for 26 years, he was the first employee hired at that location. He also worked at Tenhet Hardware for seven years.

Mr. Holland was a member of First Baptist Church in Maben, lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3806 and a member of American Legion Post 45.

Mr. Holland loved his little town of Maben. He was proud of helping the city of Maben get flags for the different businesses to hang on holidays. He loved his yard and proud of having the yard of the month.

Roy is survived by three sons Richard Holland (Carol), Terry Holland (Regina) and Gerry Holland; two daughters Shelby Beam (William) and Pat Holt; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren with 2 on the way.

He is preceded in death by both parents to James Floyd and Willie Mary Gardner Holland four brothers George, Arthur, Howard and Robert Holland; two sisters Louise Browing and Mary Nickols and one grandchild Mellisa Hulsey.
