Virginia Blackwell was born October 12, 1943, to Leslie and Catherine Walls, she passed away November 11, 2024, at Noth Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS surrounded by her family.
Virginia was married to Billy Blackwell for 64 years and together they raised three children. She loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Choctaw County.
Virginia was a very unselfish person, always putting others before herself. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and all the community children that she babysat throughout the years. She also enjoyed gardening and all of her flowers. Virginia also worked in dietary at the hospital in Eupora for several years in addition to working in her garden and keeping her home. She enjoyed attending her children's sport and band events over the years rarely missing anything. She enjoyed fishing with her family when she was able to go.
Virginia is survived by her husband Billy Blackwell; one son Mike Blackwell ( Margaret)of Mathiston; two daughters Debra Boykin( Rick) of Tuscaloosa and Amy Robbins (Ben) of Columbia; four brothers Richard Walls, Doug Walls (Maudie) Kenneth Walls (Peggy) and Leslie Walls Jr.; two sisters Janice Alford (Tommy) and Joyce Walls; ten grandchildren Brittnie, Michael Ryan, Emma, Misty, Rick, Hannah, Destanie, Bailey, Rita, and Chance; six great grandchildren Katelyn, Konner, Mason, Hazel, Jessie, Aiden, and one greatgrandchild, Ellie on the way of whom she was excited to meet.
Virginia is proceeded in death by her parents Leslie Wall Sr and Catherine Davis Walls; one infant son Steven Daniel Blackwell; one grandson Thomas Daniel Martin; one brother Larry Walls and two sister in laws Alice and Dolores Walls.
