Terry Wayne Kellum

January 13, 1957 – August 22, 2023

Calhoun City, Mississippi

Terry Kellum, age 66, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2023, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born on January 13,1957, to Estel Junior "Buddy" Kellum and Opal Lee Manns.

Terry was a lifelong Mississippian. He was a welder and retired from Gulf States out of Starkville. He loved buying, selling, and trading as well as fishing and making people laugh. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Calhoun County.

His family states that he was a good husband and a great dad, and the best Papaw. Being the dedicated family man that he was, it was he who was the most influential in getting his children to church and encouraging them to make the Lord first in their lives.

Mr. Kellum is survived by his only son, Billy Joe Kellum (Heather) of Kentucky; three daughters, Becky Craven (Joe) of Georgia, Terri Hunt (Jason) of Southaven, and Regina Goodman (Chris) of Hernando; one brother, Jacky Kellum (Rita) of Mathiston; three sisters, Carolyn Goodwin of Corinth, Sandra Thornell of Alabama, and Debra James of Mathiston; seventeen Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Terry Kellum is preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Opal Kellum, and his wife, Kathy Louise King Kellum.

The funeral service for Mr. Terry Kellum will be held Friday, August 25,2023, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Calhoun City at 12:00.

Interment will be held in Kellum-Parker Cemetery on Maben Sturgis Road in Maben, MS.

Officiating the service will be Pastor Johnathan Hood.
