Susan Redd Vaughn, age 63, passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center -Eupora on March 7, 2024.

She was born on August 19, 1960, to James Alvin Redd and Eyvone Thompson Redd. Susan has lived the last thirty-four years of her life in Webster County. She was a faithful member of the Walthall Baptist Church where she sang with the choir, attended the Adult II Sunday School Class, belonged to the SonShine Club, member of the WMU, and was an assistant teacher for the preschool Sunday School Class. Aside from her loyalty to her church, Susan loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed family gatherings.

Susan Redd Vaughn is survived by her fiancé' Russell Hood of Eupora, MS; one son, Chris Dickerson (Courtney) of Bellefontaine; a sister, Patricia Redd McClure (Larry); and two grandchildren, Parker and Owen.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, James Alvin and Eyvone Thompson Redd.

A visitation for Ms. Vaughn will be held Monday, March 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Wise Reed Funeral Home in Eupora. Services will follow at 1:00 PM in the Wise Reed Funeral Chapel. Brother Willie Weddle will officiate the service. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
