Sidney Rayburn Medders, age 78, passed away on December 5, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, Mississippi. He was born on October 4, 1942 to James "Jake" Medders and Tommie McKnight Medders.

He is survived by one brother, Clyde L. (Phyliss) Medders of Eupora, Mississippi and three sisters, Ann Patridge of Mathiston, Mississippi, Era Halford of Dothan, Alabama, and Thelma Painter of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James "Jake" Medders and Tommie McKnight Medders; two brothers, James Thomas Medders and Douglas Medders; and five sisters, Charlene Rushing, Ethelene Hodges, Nellie Burden, Betty Murphy and Paralee Ahearn.

A graveside service will be held at Mr. Pisgah Cemetery on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
