Shirley Perkins Burrell, 81, of Eupora, Mississippi passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, Mississippi. She was born on October 2, 1937 to Clarence and Barbara Hinkle Perry of Alabama. She was married to Art Burrell.

Mrs. Burrell graduated from Camden High School. She spent most of her life in Eupora, Mississippi where she raised her two sons and daughter on her own after tragically losing two husbands in death. She ran a daycare out of her home. Her children considered her very selfless and always thinking of others. She loved working in the yard and caring for her flowers. After her children grew up and had children of their own, she enjoyed having them all gathered around her. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Burrell is survived by her husband, Art Burrell; two sons, Perry (Frankie) McDaniel of Frisco City, Alabama; Mark (Darlene) McDaniel of Northport, Alabama; one daughter, Charla (Kerry) Henley of Dancy, Mississippi; three step-daughters, Dana Riddle, Carla Meche, and Lori Perkins; one sister, Millie Perry (Paul) Hyche of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, five grandsons, Bric McDaniel, Christopher (Kristan) Hodges, Sgt. Matthew (Kelly) McDaniel; Jonathan Hodges, Andrew McDaniel; one granddaughter, Georgie McDaniel; and three great grandchildren, Caleb McDaniel, Holly McDaniel, and Hayes Hodges.

Mrs. Burrell is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Barbara Hinkle Perry; two spouses, Melvin Hayes McDaniel and Charles Edward Perkins; and two sisters, Eva Perry Cain and Elizabeth "Bitsy" Barrett.
