Sherry (MeMe) Halterman

Sherry Lynn Halterman, 56, surrounded by her family and loved ones, passed away at her residence on Sunday January 5th, 2025. She was born on April 26th, 1968, to Frank Wayne Langford and Sheila Foxworthy Slade.

Sherry, also known as MeMe by many, loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her best friend and cousin, Theresa Coleman. MeMe loved her puppies, hummingbirds, crafting, crocheting, gardening and working in the yard.

Sherry, worked at BK Edwards as an Administrative Assistant for over 20 years.

Sherry stated not too long ago, "Working at BKE is my favorite job I have ever had!". Everyone, family and friends, agree with her statement. She loved her job, and the other employees she worked alongside became family to her.

MeMe, will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and coworkers.

Sherry is survived, by her mother Sheila Slade; two daughters Terasa Harpole (Justin) and Jessica Skinner; one sister Tammy Edwards (Bruce); two brothers Brian Langford (Michelle) and Johnathan Slade (Tricia); seven grandchildren Paytan, Boston, Griffin, Schaffer, Waverly, Harlie, and Finlie; one niece Brooke, and three nephews Connor (Erin), Jonah, and Jacob.

She is preceded in death by her father Frank Wayne Langford.

A Life Celebration Service will be held at Marvin Hill Methodist church, in Cumberland Mississippi. Service will be held Thursday, January 9th, 2025 from 4 o'clock PM to 6 o'clock PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Marvin Hill Methodist Church.
