Sheila Dianne Maxey Kirksey, 71, of Bellefontaine, Mississippi passed away in Rush Foundation Hospital Meridian, Mississippi on May 4, 2019. She was born on April 25, 1948 to Earl Webb and Ruby Knight Maxey. She was the wife of Jim Kirksey.

Dianne spent her life in the "McCain Town" community near Bellefontaine, Mississippi. She graduated from Eupora High School and attended Wood Junior College and Delta State College. She and her husband, Jim, had two daughters, Kimberly and Shelley.

She enjoyed cooking and tending her flowers. Dianne especially liked spending time with her grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Bellefontaine, Mississippi.

Mrs. Dianne Kirksey is survived by her husband, Jim Kirksey; two daughters, Kimberly Murrell (husband, Dan) of Austin, Texas and Shelley Bentz, (husband, Ray) of West Union, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Jareth Murrell, Aiden Murrell, Hailey Bentz, Chase Bentz, Coltin Bentz, and Zackary Bentz; and one great-granddaughter, Raylon Bentz.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Brother Josh Bingham officiating the service.
