Robert Hodges, 56, of Mathiston, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019. He was born on January 2, 1963 to Herbert and Frances Anderson Hodges.

Robert was a lifetime resident of Webster County. He graduated from Eupora High School and Golden Triangle Vocational Technical Center, now East Mississippi Community College. He was employed by Valmet, Inc. of Columbus, Mississippi. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his friends. His two daughters and grandson were especially loved by their dad and granddad. They fondly remember the love he had for his dog, Bullet, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Hodges is survived by his two daughters, Haley Hodges (Adam Chandler) of Starkville, Mississippi and Mackenzie Hodges of Starkville, Mississippi; one grandson, Grayson Barnett; two brothers, Steve Hodges of the Clarkson Community and Russell Messer of Conway, Arkansas; and his beloved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Hale and Frances Alberta Anderson Hodges.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
