Robert Davis "Bob" Griffin Jr.

Robert Davis "Bob" Griffin Jr., aged 67, of Florence, MS, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born to Robert Davis "Buck" Griffin, Sr., and Lorena Doss "Lo" Griffin of Eupora, Mississippi.

After graduating from Eupora High School, Bob served in the National Guard. He attended Holmes Community College and Mississippi State University. Along with other successful jobs, he found his greatest career as a long-haul truck driver for Crete Carrier in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church in Florence, MS for many years.

Bob is survived by his sons, Robert Davis Griffin III of San Antonio, Texas and Joshua Scott Griffin of Florence, MS. He is also survived by his brother, Joe Griffin, of Eupora, Mississippi and five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Davis "Buck" Griffin Sr. and Lorena Doss "Lo" Griffin; as well as his daughter, Brenna Dianne Griffin-Magee of Gretna, LA.

Memorial services will be held at Wise- Reed Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
