Richard "Ricky" Roberson

Richard "Ricky" Roberson of Calhoun City, MS passed away January 18, 2025, in Greenville, MS. He was born on November 24, 1962, in Brownsville TX to Agnes and W.C. Roberson. He moved to Greenville MS in November 1970 as the foster child of Clinton and Norma Mixon. He was educated in the Greenville Public Schools and graduated in special education in 1982. He worked for Gil Worth Tire Co. until 1989 when he moved to Eupora, MS. In 2009 he met the love of his life Kayla Edwards. They were married March 26,2010, and lived in Calhoun City, MS until his death.

Ricky in preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and W.C. Roberson, his brothers Rodney and Dewayne Roberson, his sister Kaye Langford and Beverly Kelly.

Ricky is survived by his foster parents Clinton and Norma Mixon, his brothers Buster (Patricia) Roberson and Clint (Patsy) Mixon, his sisters Lisa, Janette, and Debbie Robinson, Tricia (Tommy) Harrington, Stepanie (Mike) Kent and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Mark Burton, James Fuller, Brett Harrington, Winn Kent, Conor Kent, and Reid Kent.
