Ralph David Borden

Bellefontaine, Mississippi

Ralph David Borden, aged 63, passed away peacefully at his home on February 8, 2021. He is the son of the late Herbert and Mary Borden and husband of Deborah Borden.

Ralph was born in Missouri but moved to Mississippi when he was a teenager. He met and married Deborah after meeting her through her father. He worked with Masters in Eupora, Mississippi and Flexsteel in Starkville, Mississippi. Together they reared a family of girls and were blessed with seven grandchildren. With forty years of marriage, he loved spending time with his family taking them fishing, hunting, watching them in ball games, and going on vacations with them. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Borden; three daughters, Carrie (Angelo) Borden Jones, Kayla (Jacob) Borden Bingham, and Tondra Borden; four brothers, Kenny Borden, William Borden, Tony Bostic, and Ricky Bostic; five sisters, Ginger (Butch) Herbert, Sharon (Buster) Herbert, Donna (Jerry) Monaco, Kasey (Jeff) Wiley, and Lynn (Gene) Robertson; and seven grandchildren, Chase Thomas (Marissa) Keller, Dawson Tyler Keller, Lilly Kate Jones, Emileigh Claire Bingham, Greyson Kent Bingham, Thomas Borden, and Treasure Borden.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Mary Borden; a brother, Kenneth Joe Bostic; and one grandchild, Karson David Bingham.

Services for Ralph David Borden will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Wise Reed Funeral Home in Eupora, Mississippi. Visitation will precede the funeral from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Brother Billy Trull will officiate the services. Pallbearers are Jason Herbert, Kenny Herbert, Jeff Herbert, Bobby Herbert, Jerrick James, and Rick Bostic. Burial will follow at North Union Cemetery in Bellefontaine, Mississippi. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
