Penny Lorene Poe, age 57, passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi on November 17, 2022. She was born on September 28, 1965, to Larry Fred and Frances Pope Poe.

Penny was born and raised in Mississippi. She loved to cook and spend many years cooking at Midway Truck Stop in Tomnolen, Mississippi. She loved her family and helped raise her niece and nephew, Jeanie Ann and Matthew Poe. Her siblings remember the many years they spent going to vacation bible school at Tomnolen Baptist Church in Tomnolen, Mississippi. She was a member of Tilden Church of Christ in Fulton, Mississippi.

She is survived by two brothers, Barry Dodd (Vicky) of Fame, Mississippi, and Charles Breland (Karen) of Greenwood, Mississippi; one sister, Pam Stilson (William) of Clermont, Georgia; one nephew, Matthew Poe of Mantachie, Mississippi; one niece, Jeanie Ann Poe of Eupora, Mississippi; and four great nieces and nephews, Brendan Poe, Savannah Poe, Kevin Poe, and Brianna Poe.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry Fred and Frances Pope Poe; two brothers, Freddy Poe and Gerald Dodd; and one sister, Theresa Breland.

The family will have a private family only viewing. No memorial service will be held at this time.
