Minnie Sue Burson, 86, passed away on May 11 , 2025, in Ackerman, MS . She was born on December 26, 1938, to Lloyd and Melzene McKnight Medders.

Minnie Sue, a lifelong residence of Choctaw MS, enjoyed her flowers and working in the garden when she was able. She enjoyed doing word find books, and watching shows of The Walking Dead, Walker Texas Ranger and Matlock.

Minnie Sue is survived by one son Allen Burson; four daughters Janie Henderson, Teresa Steadman, Ruby Penninger and Linda Peach; one brother J.R. Medders, and three sisters Mavis Green, Carolyn Walker and Bobbie Farmer; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Melzene Medders; her husband Huie Burson; daughters Ruby Kay Burson and Glenda Fay Burson; five brothers, three sisters, and one great grandchild Abbi Owen.
