Mary L. Stephenson, age 67, passed away on June 17, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was born on April 10, 1952 to James H. and Beverly Searle Raney.

Mary loved life . . . including makeup to the perfection, shopping till she dropped, and having her nails done. She was a beautiful person who kept her house clean all the time and enjoyed decorating for Christmas. Her greatest love of all were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Billy M. Stephenson of Ackerman, Mississippi; two sons, Jason D. Stephenson (wife, Angie) of Ackerman, Mississippi and Jeremy N. Stephenson of Ackerman, Mississippi; one daughter, Keisha Miller (husband, Jeffery) of Ackerman, Mississippi; two brothers, Ryan Raney of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Dennis Raney of Newellton, Louisiana; three sisters, Terri Scull of Eupora, Mississippi, Barbara Bowie of Eupora, Mississippi and Tammy Foster (husband, Mark) of Bentonia, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Taylor Stephenson, Destiny Stephenson, Brady Stephenson, Alexius Stephenson, Kaliyah Cork, Kaleb Robinson, and Kazlee Robinson; and three great-grandchildren, Landon Stephenson, Emma Rister, and Korben Carter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Beverly Searle Raney, and brothers, Sammy Raney and Jimmy Raney.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County, Mississippi. Officiating will be Brother Rob Faulk. Pallbearers are Jeffrey Miller, Joshua Freeman, Robert Rister, Sammie Bowie, and Jessie Raney.
