Mary Whittington Crocker, aged 61, of Ackerman, Mississippi passed away November 15, 2019 at University Mississippi Medical Center of Grenada, Mississippi after an extended illness.

Mrs. Crocker was a resident of Choctaw County for over thirty years. She had previously lived in Canton and Pearl, Mississippi. She worked as a cashier at Walmart in Louisville, Mississippi. Often overheard singing to herself, she loved music. She especially loved family get-togethers and centering her life around her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Chris (Sarah) McClure of Pearl, Mississippi and Michael Crocker of Pontotoc, Mississippi; one daughter, Jennifer McClure of Pontotoc, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Isaiah McClure, Janiyah Robinson, and Jaydah McClure; two brothers, Charles Whittington of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; Billy James (Rhonda Sue) Whittington of Weir, Mississippi; and one sister, Clora J. Guzman of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Allen and Billie Rose Brown Whittington; and two sisters, Cathy Perry and Bonnie Eldridge.

Funeral Services for Mary Whittington Crocker will be Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church in the Concord Bethsalem Community of Choctaw County. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County, Mississippi. Officiating the service will be Brother Warren Hunt and Brother Roger Griffith.
