Martha Elizabeth Rhea Watson, 89, of Eupora, Mississippi passed away May 20, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Martha was born in West Point, Mississippi on June 28, 1935, to Homer G. Rhea and Mary Elizabeth Rhea. She worked for many years at Redcap in Mathiston, Mississippi until her retirement. She was a Founding Member and Prayer Warrior of Victory by Faith Ministries Church in Eupora, Mississippi. She loved spending time with her family and all her grandbabies.

Since her retirement, Martha enjoyed making candy with her grandchildren but more than anything just spending time and taking care of them. Her faith in God was witnessed by her kindness to family and friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Ricky Watson (Amanda), Larry Watson (Patsy); two brothers, Homer G. Rhea, Jr. (Jimmy), Roger D. Rhea (Lisa); three sisters, Barbara Edmonds, Sandra Stafford (Jimmy), and Janice Terry (Jimmy); one sister-in-law, Tula Rhea; three grandchildren, Johnny Watson (Kristin), Jeannie Davis (Josh), and Chelsea Bass (Jeffrey); and six great-grandchildren, Chloe Bass, Grayson Bass, Isabella Davis, Lillian Davis, Felicity Bass, and Chase Bass. Martha felt like her golden retriever, Benji, was also a part of her family.
