Larry Preston Lucas

Larry Preston Lucas, 68, was born on August 16, 1956, to James and Josephine Robinson Lucas.

He passed away on December 11, 2024, at his residence in Mathiston, MS.

Larry loved the Lord, his family and friends. He was a kind loving man that would give you the shirt off is back if you needed it. He loved spending time with his family and friends and cutting up with them. Mr. Larry hobbies were going to play bingo at the VFW and hanging out at the corner store in Mathiston keeping a watchful eye over his girls that worked there, whom he loved very much. Mr. Larry was loved by many, and he will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Larry is survived by one brother Richard Lucas: one sister Rachel James and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents James Lucas and Dorthy Josephine Robinson Lucas; three brothers JW, Dean and Harry Lucas; and one sister Gail Manus.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined by his family.
