Lance Matthew Medders, 31, passed away January 3, 2019 at his home in Eupora, Mississippi. He was born November 17, 1986 to Thomas Glenn and Mary Elizabeth Lytle Medders. He was married to Kori Glenn Kemp Medders.

Lance graduated from Eupora High School and was later married to Kori. He was employed by Doug Evans Construction of Bellefontaine, Mississippi. He was a caring husband and father who always put his family first. He was a very capable, intelligent person and excelled in welding and mechanics. He was able to fix anything. His family said that he was always concerned and thoughtful of all of his family.

Mr. Medders is survived by his father, Thomas Glenn Medders of Eupora; his wife, Kori Glenn Kemp Medders of Eupora, Mississippi; one son, Jacob Andrew Harris; one daughter, Mattilyn Austin Medders; two brothers, Tommy Medders of Eupora and Jerry Huff of Oak Grove, Louisiana; and four sisters, Heather Huff of Monroe, Louisiana, Jessica (Jason) Mott of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Kristi Medders of Okeechobee, Florida, and Erin Medders of Eupora, Mississippi.

Mr. Medders is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Lytle Medders, and one brother Gary Wayne Huff.

Visitation will be at Wise Reed Funeral Home on January 9, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Wise Reed Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on January 10, 2019. Officiating will be Bro. James Hill. Pallbearers are Aaron Crutchfield, Jason Mott, Jason Tindall, Jerry huff, Clint Mann, Gregory Tuck and Tommy Medders. Burial will be at Bluff Springs Cemetery in Choctaw County, Mississippi. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
