Kenneth Edward Murrell, Sr.

February 3, 1948 – July 12, 2018

Kenneth "Kenny" Edward Murrell, Sr., 70, of Eupora, Mississippi passed away on July 12, 2018. Kenny was born on February 3, 1948 to Floyd and Bessie Litton Murrell.

Kenny was retired from a barbecue business that he and his wife operated together where he fulfilled his love of cooking. He was a member of the Eupora VFW and American Legion. He was a great story teller and enjoyed telling his grandchildren, who were the love of his life, those stories. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Kenny is survived by his two sons, Ken (Shyrrl) Murrell of Eupora, MS, and Brian Murrell of Ridgedale, MO; three brothers, Doug (Marty) Murrell of Austin, TX, Dan Murrell of Greenville, MS, and David Murrell of Greenville, MS; one sister, Patricia (Jimmy) Hearn of Greenville, MS; three grandchildren, Kenny Murrell III, Karlie Murrell, and Keiffer Murrell. A host of nieces and nephews also survive him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pat Murrell and his parents, Bessie Litton and Floyd Murrell.
