Kay Glasner

Kay Glasner, age 68, passed away on June 24, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, Mississippi. She was born in the Fame community on May 12, 1957, to Dan Wright and Tinty Huff.

Kay was a nurturing woman in both her career and her family. She was a nurse and worked at North Mississippi Medical Clinic Eupora for many years. Her greatest joy, however, was caring for her family. She had three sons whom she adored and often mothered their friends as well. Her home was a place of joy and unlimited snacks for those young men. Kay also loved the outdoors, especially visiting Little Mountain and fishing with her long-term friend, Charles Rivers. She was a member of Sapa Baptist Church.

Kay is survived by her sons; Josh (Martha) Glasner, Jared (Lucy) Glasner, and Jeremy (Sealy) Glasner; and three grandchildren; Max, Cooper, and Stella Glasner; six brothers, DJ, Sammy, Robert, Larry, Wesley, and David Earl Wright; three sisters; Gloria Dickson, Rachel Dodd, and June Schaffer; and her long-time companion, Charles Rivers.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Wright and Tinty Huff; and two sisters, Patricia Kilgore and Lillie Breazealle.
