Jessica Dawn Corder, 28, passed away May 8, 2019 at her home in Eupora, Mississippi. She was born August 4, 1990 to Jeanette "Netty" Orr and Jimmy Rushing, her birth father; although from age two Jessica only knew Mike Morgan as her "Dad."

Jessica was a lifetime resident of Webster County and was a member of the Tri County Baptist Church in Stewart, Mississippi. She was an honor graduate from Eupora High School in 2009. Her high school years were filled with beauty pageants, gymnastics and cheerleading. She received the Lynn Lamb memorial scholarship at graduation. She received her LPN license and devoted her life to her nursing career taking care of others. She was very photogenic and was an outstanding beauty.

Jessica Dawn Corder is survived by her son, Ledger Wyatt Corder; her dad and mom, Mike Morgan and Jeanette "Netty" Orr; two brothers, Jim and Justin; and one grandparent, Jimmy Orr, Sr.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Rushing; and her grandparents, Judith Orr and Roy and Nellie Faye Rushing.

Visitation will be at Wise Reed Funeral Home on Monday, May 13, 2019, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Wise Reed Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019. Officiating will be Brother Max Blackwelder. Pallbearers are Terry Orr, Jerry Orr, Jim Medders, Justin Hatcher, Gregg Rowlen, and Shane Corder. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Jessica's family has asked that donations be made at the funeral home or to her mom and dad in lieu of flowers.
