Jerry Wayne Willhite, Sr., aged 66, passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Eupora, Mississippi. He was the husband of Cathy Harbin Willhite and son of the late Lee and Elsie Willhite.

Jerry was born in Washington County but moved to the Eupora area about thirty years ago. He was a retired painter. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and gardening. He spent a lot of time in his tool shop. He enjoyed all kinds of music. His family said that he was a good man, and no one ever said anything bad about him.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Harbin Willhite; four sons, Jerry Willhite, Jr. of Gore Springs, Mississippi, Christopher Willhite of Pearl, Mississippi, Earnest Willhite of Columbus, Mississippi and Brandon Willhite of Duck Hill, Mississippi; one sister, Linda (Larry) Nichols of Midlothian, Texas; three brothers, Larry (Beverly) Willhite of Eupora, Mississippi, Sidney Willhite of Milan, Tennessee and Mark Willhite of Memphis, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Dakota, Autumn, Elijah, Penny, and Ashlyn; and one great-grandchild, Beckham.

Preceding Jerry in death are his parents, Lee and Elsie Myles Willhite; one brother, Donny Willhite; and one great-grandchild, Berkley Boydstun.
