Jerry Davis "Bullet" Pollan

Jerry Davis "Bullet" Pollan, age 67, passed away on October 25, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 13, 1953 to the late William Irvin and Nellie "Polly" Davis Pollan. He was married to Shirley Weeks Pollan.

Jerry graduated from Eupora High School, received an associate degree from Holmes Junior College, and attended Mississippi State University. He met his future wife, Shirley, while working at Garan in Eupora. After they were married they moved to McComb where Jerry work as a recovery agent. When their daughter, Angela, was born they moved back to Eupora. Here Jerry and Shirley raised their two children, Angela and Eric. He loved boating, water skiing, camping at Grenada Lake, and motorcycling with his friends here in Eupora; however, he had numerous friends everywhere.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Weeks Pollan; a daughter, Angela (Willie) Pollan Reed of Eupora; one son, Eric Daniel Pollan; four grandchildren, Anthony Scott Pollan, Mattelyn Brook Reed, Kaley Dawn Pollan, and Alana Wray Reed; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Irvin and Nellie "Polly" Davis Pollan; and two brothers, Jimmy Irvin Pollan and William D. Pollan.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Wise Reed Chapel. Officiating will be Brother Hugh Bland. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Wise Reed Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Webster Memorial Gardens in Eupora, Mississippi. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
