Janice Kaye Medders, 66, passed away at her home on April 25, 2019. She was born on June 14, 1952 to Andrew and Ruby Elizabeth Howard Tacket.

Mrs. Medders spent the last 22 years in Stewart, Mississippi where she resided with her husband, Thomas E. Medders. Her daughter, Elizabeth Taylor, introduced her to Mr. Thomas and they were married on Valentines Day. They were married for 22 years. Mrs. Medders loved flowers; she had a yard full of roses. She loved working with all her plants. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Medders was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Medders; four sons, Keith Manning, Thomas Eugene Blankenship, Thomas Medders, and Robert Medders; one daughter, Elizabeth Taylor; one brother, Dallas Marcum (Sharon); ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ruby Elizabeth Howard Tacket; and two brothers, Lee Marcum and Eddie Marcum.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Janice Kaye Medders will be on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Wise Reed Chapel. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Wise Reed Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bluff Springs Cemetery in Webster County, Mississippi.
