Janice Britt Lewis

March 30, 1952– July 23, 2024

Janice Marie Britt Lewis was born to Durwood Britt and Imogene Holloway on March 30, 1952. Janice was married to Mack Lewis for over 48 years and resided in Ackerman, MS. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Chester Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her husband, Mack. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her daughters Vicky and Tina. Easter was her favorite holiday even though she loved them all. Most days would find her drinking her cokes and watching Fox News and Animal Planet.

Janice's family would like to express special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, her nurse Laura Mitchell, and hospice chaplain Adam.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Mack Lewis; two daughters, Vicky Johnson (Stacey) and Tina Medders (Tony); brother, Tommy Britt (Vicki), and three sisters, Carolyn Bowman (George), Cathy McClain (Larry), and Brenda Adams; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Durwood and Imogene Britt; sisters Patricia Britt and Lynn Britt Collier.
