James Albert Whitaker, 87, of Eupora, Mississippi passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at his home.

He is preceded in death by his father, John C. Whitaker, and mother, Monnie Young Whitaker; two brothers, Travis Whitaker and Charles Whitaker.

He is survived by his wife, Clemmie Whitaker of Eupora; two daughters Carol Archer of Illinois, Rita Smith of Alabama; one brother, J. C. Whitaker of Arkansas; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Fame Church of God Eupora on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. Reverend Michael Haas will be officiating.
