Inez Thompson, 88, passed away on April 23, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, Mississippi. She was born on November 10, 1930 to Robert Edward and Hattie McKnight Medders.

Mrs. Thompson was a lifelong resident of Webster County until her last seven years that she spent in Mason, Tennessee with her son, Ricky Tedder. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. Her favorite hobby was painting pictures, crafting, and knitting. She was a Baptist and loved going to church.

She is survived by two brothers, Troy Lee Medders of Eupora, Mississippi and Tom Medders of Eupora, Mississippi; one sister, Edna Medders of Eupora, Mississippi; two sisters-in-law, Mae Medders of Eupora, Mississippi and Catherine Orr of Winter Haven, Florida; four grandchildren, Kay Ray, Shain Tedder, Shaun Tedder, and Kristi Tedder; two great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edward and Hattie McKnight Medders; two late husbands, James B. Tedder and J. W. Thompson; two sons, James Ricky Tedder and Robert Randy Tedder; six brothers, Edward Medders, Alton Medders, V.J. Medders, Jim Medders, Robert Medders, Jr., and Roy Lee Medders; and two sisters, Nell Severinsky and Rachel Taylor.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Inez Thompson will be Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Wise Reed Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Wise Reed Funeral Home in Eupora, Mississippi. Burial will follow at Bluff Springs Cemetery in Choctaw County, Mississippi.
