Howard Cordell Crowley, 64, of Ackerman, Mississippi passed away on December 27, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi. He was born on November 23, 1954 to Rooferd C. and Elma Orene Robinson Crowley. He was married to Mary A. Crowley.

Mr. Crowley graduated from Ackerman High School and served for four years in the United States Air Force. He was retired from TMA Sawmill. Mr. Crowley loved his family and friends greatly. He enjoyed sharing stories with them and watching westerns. He particularly enjoyed passing time sitting on his front porch.

Mr. Crowley is survived by his wife, Mary A. Crowley of Ackerman, Mississippi; three sons, Christopher (Natalie) Crowley of Austin, Texas, Kevin Crowley of Austin, Texas, and Daniel Allen Crowley of Ratcliff, Arkansas; one daughter, Lynda (Peter) Miles of Ackerman, Mississippi; one sister, Margaret (William) Kent of Ackerman, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Kerri Crowley, Kameron Crowley, Katrina Crowley, Miley Dossett, Gator Crowley, and Nora Crowley.

Mr. Crowley is preceded in death by his parents, Rooferd C. and Elma Orene Robinson Crowley; one brother, Lamar Crowley; and three sisters, Lena Wolfram, Susan Kyles, and Kathy McKnight.

Visitation will be at Wise Reed Funeral Home on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Wise Reed Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2018. Officiating will be Bro. Rodger Griffith. Pallbearers are Adam Bright, Robbie McKnight, Bill Thrasher, Brian Thrasher, Derek Oswalt, Braxton Bright, Austin Thrasher, and Kameron Crowley. Burial will be at Montevista Cemetery in Webster County. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
