Helen Medders Davis, Age 88, passed away in her home in Stewart surrounded by her family on February 23, 2022.

Helen was born May 29, 1933 in Choctaw County to the late Floyd Medders and Lena Clay Medders. She worked at Wells Lamont Glove Factory and retired after 45 years. She enjoyed her work and the friendships she made while working there. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, taking trips to the mountains and caring for her family.

Helen was a devoted member of Tomnolen Baptist Church. She loved attending Sunday School, church services and all activities.

Helen is survived by her son, Larry (Susan) Davis of Winona; her daughter, Debbie (Bobby) Knight of Stewart; five grandchildren, Scott (Mary Ann) Dean of Stewart, Kristi Dean of Stewart, Shane (Angela) Knight of Starkville, Alison Miller of Carrolton, Hannah (Matt) Branch of Winona, Becky Griffith of Eupora; and ten great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Jones, Alena Jones, Mesa Miller, Maddie Jones, Ethan Knight, Micah Dean, Celie Dean, Colby Dean, Levi Bell, Emory Dean, Bryan Sisk, Amber Sisk, Tyler Mitchell and host of loving family and friends.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles C. Davis; her parents, Floyd and Lena Clay Medders, and a brother, Gerald Medders all of Tomnolen.

Services will be held on February 26, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Tomnolen Baptist Church with Interment immediately following at the church. Visitation is at Wise Reed Funeral Home on February 25, 2022 from 5 pm til 7 pm. Officiating the service is Bro. Don Parish.

Pallbearers are Parker Blaylock, Jonathan Burton, Milton Davis, Greg Dean, Ronnie Dinning and Jeremy Medders.
