Delcie Lee Goodrum, age 98, passed away peacefully at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, Mississippi on March 15, 2020. She was the wife of the late Reverend B. V. Goodrum.

Mrs. Goodrum lived her life devoted to her God and family. She and her husband pastored churches for over forty years throughout the state of Mississippi. She was a member of West Eupora Church of God. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She went to her heavenly home peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce (Gene) Hendrix and Jane (DeWitt) Lott; a son-in-law, John Charles Stewart; twelve grandchildren, Karen Griffin, Brenda Mason, Judy Pittman, Charles Stewart, Jr., Rene Haynes, Melissa Griffin, Brent Goodrum, Brandi Goodrum, Reverend Timothy Lott, Tabitha Shuffield, Dr. Trent Lott, and Terence Lott; twenty-five great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dim and Mittie Atkinson King; her husband, Reverend B. V. Goodrum; a daughter, Sherlene Stewart; and a son, James Goodrum.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Wise Reed Chapel in Eupora. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Eupora Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Cody Griffin, Derek Klipstein, Taylor Lott, Memory Shuffield, Nathan Lott, and Camdon Lott. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
