Deborah Marie Thompson

Deborah Marie Thompson passed away at Diversicare Living Center in Eupora, MS, on May 19, 2023. She was born in Kilmichael, MS on October 30, 1957, to Denver Leach and Helen Hunt Leach.

Deborah met her husband, Ricky Thompson, at the Country Music Palace in Vaiden, MS. She spent the next thirty- eight years as a homemaker at their home in Stewart, MS. Mrs. Thompson enjoyed cleaning her house, scrolling through Facebook, and collecting movies; romantic comedies being her favorite.

Deborah Thompson is survived by her husband Ricky Thompson; two daughters, Karrie Hubbard of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Kasey Hubbard of Memphis, TN; two brothers, David Leach (Stacy) and Scott Leach of Kilmichael; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Denver and Helen Leach; her son, Lucas Shawn Leach; a daughter, Kimberly Hubbard; three brothers, Bill, Tommy, and Robert Leach, and one sister, Paula Leach.

A Memorial Service will be held later to be determined by her family. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
