Dan Ashford Lindsay, Jr.

August 15, 1946 – November 12, 2018

Dan Ashford Lindsay, Jr., 72, of Stewart, Mississippi passed away at Eupora North Mississippi Medical Center on November 12, 2018. He was born on August 15, 1946 to Dr. Dan Ashford Lindsay, Sr. and Martha Henderson Edwards.

Mr. Lindsay was a landscape architect. He worked in Greenville, Mississippi where he was a landscape architect and nurseryman. After moving to Forest Hill, Louisiana he owned a wholesale nursery. He was also an avid golfer. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by his son, Andrew (Emily) Lindsay of Alexandria, Louisiana; two daughters, Laura (Mike) Narmour of Stewart, Mississippi and Kate (Brandon) Hodges of the Sapa Community; a brother, Shelby Edwards of Oxford, Mississippi; two sisters, Martha (Bob) Denninger of Dallas, Texas and Jane (Mark) Pirani of Marion, Arkansas; Eleven grandchildren, Will Hart, Hunter Hart, Brett Chapman, Kayla Narmour, Millie Lindsay, Lanee Lindsay, Hatton Lindsay, Chandler Hodges, Lindsay Farley, Swayze Hodges, and Baylee Hodges; one great grandchild, Spencer Lee Hart; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Dan Ashford Lindsay, Sr. and Martha Henderson Edwards
