Curtis Waymon "C. W." Donohoo, Jr., 76, passed away on May 7, 2019 at the Specialty Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. He was born on April 25, 1943 to Curtis Waymon and Annie Lou Pearson.
C. W., as he was known to friends and family, was a lifelong resident of Webster County. He graduated from Eupora High School. He lived on the family farm with his sister, Louise, where he raised chickens and farmed until he became disabled. He enjoyed riding his bicycle when he was younger. He and his brother, James, enjoyed cutting firewood together from their family property. Walking in the woods and finding pine knots for his own fireplace were activities he enjoyed on his old homeplace. He was a Baptist and attended West Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Donohoo is survived by his sister, Louise Donohoo, of Eupora; his brother, James J. Donohoo and his wife Sachiyo; one niece, Jennifer Donohoo Davis and her husband Rev. Danny Davis; one great niece, Anna Asae Davis; and one nephew, Connor Davis.
C. W. is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Waymon Donohoo, Sr. and his mother, Annie Lou Pearson Donohoo.
Funeral services for Mr. C. W. Donohoo, Jr. will be Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Wise Reed Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wise Reed Funeral Home in Eupora, Mississippi. Burial will follow at New Ebenezer Cemetery in the Grady Community.
