Clemmie Lou Whitaker 86, of Eupora passed away Thursday August 20, 2026 at North Mississippi Long Term Care in Eupora.

Clemmie is preceded in death by her husband James Albert Whitaker her father Clifford Datson her mother Tina Wood and half-brother Danny Datson.

She survived by her two daughters Carol Archer of Illinois and Rita Smith of Alabama and one half-sister Jean of Tennessee; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Wise Reed Funeral Home September 5, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Reverand Michael Haas will be officiating. A time of fellowship with the family will follow the service.

Wise Reed Funeral Home will oversee the service.
