Clarence Michael Lucas

Clarence Michael Lucas was born on February 3,1994 in Starkville, MS to Leonard James "Peewee" Lucas and Sherry Lynn Helms. He was taken too soon from this earth on October 13, 2023, at the age of 29 in Webster County, MS.

He worked as a logger for Brad Tomlinson in Eupora, MS. He enjoyed his job, hunting, and anything to do with being outside. He was a country man through and through. There was not a room he entered that he did not light up. He married Raven Yeager on June 1, 2015, and loved her and his daughters, Gracie and Ainsley, more than anything else in his life.

Michael is survived by his wife, Raven Lucas, and their two daughters, Gracie and Ainsley; his parents, Peewee Lucas of Eupora and Sherry (Jeff) Engelmann of AL; two brothers, Brian (Heidi) Young and Joe Young of TN; a sister, Amanda (Jeremy) Smith of Oktibbeha County; Grandfather Bobby Helms of Walthall, and many, many friends and family members.

He was preceded in death by grandmothers Irene Helms, Libby Robinson, and Dorothy Card; grandfathers Rosco Robinson and Horace Helms; and one uncle, Ray Helms.

A Visitation for Mr. Lucas will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wise Reed Funeral Home. Funeral services for Clarence Michael Lucas will be held on October 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Wise Reed Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will take place at Lollars Grove Cemetery in Webster County. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
