Charles Dennis Alexander, age 64, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was the son of the late William Hudie and Joan Mills Alexander.

Charles was a lifelong resident of Mississippi. He attended Weir High School and later joined the Army. He worked as a truck driver hauling logs until he became disabled. He spent much of his time tracing family history and visiting cemeteries where family members were buried and working on cars, hot rods, and pick up trucks. He also loved to fish. He was affiliated with New Haven Baptist Church in Choctaw County.

He is survived by one brother, Larry (Hope) Alexander of Weir, Mississippi; two sisters, Annette Ballentine of Stewart, Mississippi and Patty (Judd) Boydston of Memphis, Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Hudie and Joan Mills Alexander.

Funeral Services for Charles Dennis Alexander will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 2 p.m. A visitation will be held before the service on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2 p.m. Officiating the service will be Brother David Sartin.
