Bryan Edward “Ed” Wilkison of Eupora passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age 75. He was born on March 6, 1950, in Puxico, Missouri, to Monroe and Lotus McClure Wilkison.
Ed attended Southeast Missouri State University where he met his wife, Sharon, with whom he enjoyed 47 years of marriage. He worked in sales for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for many years. He and Sharon later resided in Florida, and in his retirement, he enjoyed boating and fishing. There, he was a member of Indian River Methodist Church. In recent years, Ed and Sharon relocated to Eupora.
Ed is survived by his wife, Sharon; three sons, Christopher Wilkison (Julie) of St. Louis, Missouri, Steven Hopper (Robin) of Orlando, Florida, and Bobby Hopper (Leah) of Orlando, Florida; two daughters, Shannon Arroyo (Pete) and Cathy Surlett both of New Braunfels, Texas; one brother Rick Wilkison (Kathy) of Mountain Home, Idaho; one sister Neisha Trentelman (Gary) of Dallas, Texas; three nieces; two nephews; fourteen grandchildren, Megan Engram, Ashly Hopper, Travis Hopper (Brittany), Jacob Hopper, Emily Hopper, Adin Willliams, Austin Arroyo (Skyler), Kayleigh Arroyo, Ryan Arroyo, Justin Hopper, Kierstin Hopper, Gracie Hopper, Ciera Walker, Emily Wilkison; six great-grandchildren, Kiara Hopper, Logan Engram, Camden Hemby, Madyson Hopper, Adleigh Hopper, Levi Hopper, and Rome Arroyo; and one great-great-grandchild, Myla Hopper.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Scott Hopper.
