Bruce Walton Stedman

Beloved husband, uncle and friend, Bruce Stedman passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, at his residence in Choctaw County at the age of 65.

Bruce Walton Stedman was born August 15, 1959, in Ackerman, Mississippi, to Berwyn E and Billie Wayne (Clay) Stedman.

Bruce met the love of his life Pam in 1996. They married on July 20, 2006.

Bruce was described by family and friends as a big kid at heart. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and mud riding. Bruce was also known as a loyal, trusted friend and employee. He made his living logging, driving a skidder and running the power saw on occasion

Bruce is survived by his wife Pamala Stedman, a stepson; Bill Reeves (Stephanie) of Sturgis, MS; two daughters; Amanda Stedman of Alabama, and Traci Stedman of Texas; one uncle, Forest Clay Jr; one sister, Rebecca Shaw of Mathiston; two nieces, Jayne Gillis and Kim Tullos; two nephews, Brandon Phelps and Jae Shaw; and two grandchildren.

Proceeding him in death are his parents, Berwyn and Billie Wayne Stedman and one sister: Patricia Phelps.
