Bonnie Farley Gary, 83, passed away on July 13, 2020 at Diversicare in Eupora, Mississippi. She was born on December 27, 1936 to the late Ruben Lamb and Mattie Earsel Boyd Farley.

Bonnie Gary was a former teacher in the Webster County School District for ten years and a court reporter for the Fifth Circuit Court for twenty years. To her family she was a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandma, and great aunt. She was a wonderful storyteller and could entertain others with her recalling of memories and experiences. Her many interests included children and babies, flowers and gardens, crossword puzzles and reading, singing hymns, and listening to 50's and 60's music. Her favorite part of each day was walking her dog, Shorty, and visiting with people along her way. She was a Baptist and member of the First Baptist Church in Eupora, Mississippi.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Gary Lowry of Columbus, Mississippi; former son-in-law, Slater Lowry; one brother, Jimmy (Debbie) Farley of Eupora; three grandchildren, Tyler Gary Brock of Cleveland, Mississippi, Dallas Witt Brock of Dallas, Texas, and Victoria Farley Brock Pitts of Columbus, Mississippi; and two great grandchildren, Paisley Pitts and Payden Pitts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruben Lamb and Mattie Earsel Boyd Farley; her former husband, Bob Gary; her brother, Fred Farley; and three infant children.

A private graveside service for Bonnie Farley Gary will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at West Shady Grove Cemetery. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
