Bettye Mitchell

Betty Mitchell, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2022 at Alive Hospice in Franklin, Tennessee. Betty is the daughter of the late Eldridge and Avis Herard Mitchell and mother of Tonye McKeller Adler of Franklin, Tennessee.

Bettye was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. At a young age she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas and attended Central High School. She moved to Los Angeles and worked in the television and film industry. After her retirement she moved to Mississippi to care for her mother, Avis Mitchell. Recently, she moved to Franklin, Tennessee to live with her daughter, Tonye, who will miss her so much.

She is survived by her daughter, Tonye (Kenneth) Adler of Franklin, Tennessee and a granddaughter, Alexandria Adler.

Bettye is preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge and Avis Herard Mitchell.
