Annie Belle Pate was born October 7, 1933, and died October 13, 2023.

Annie Belle is proceeded in death by her husband, Franklin Lamar Pate, her parents James Bell and Leatha Jane Erwin, three brothers and seven sisters. She was also proceeded by one grandson, Jordan Kreager.

She leaves behind two daughters, Donna Pate from Mantee and Melisa Kreager (Kenn Kreager) from Townsend TN, one grandson, Justin Kreager (Sunja Kreager) from Maryville TN. She has numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

After finishing high school, Annie Belle worked in Tupelo at South Central Bell in the billing department. Later she worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis as a medical transcriptionist. After having children, she lovingly devoted herself to being a mother and housewife. Annie Belle spent many hours cooking, canning and sewing. She loved the outdoors and helped my father grow a big garden. They gave away many vegetables to neighbors and friends. She was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain. Her home was always open to everyone. Annie Belle loved working in her flowers, which were always beautiful and healthy. She was blessed with an amazing 'green thumb'. She worked hard and she spent much of her time in volunteer work to help others. Annie Belle lived her life quietly and put herself in the hands of the "Great Potter" to be carefully shaped by Him. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
