Anna B. Woods Threadgill, 75, passed away on August 20, 2020 at North Mississippi Long Term Care of Eupora, Mississippi. She was born on May 11, 1945 to George McCoyle Woods and Winnie B. Massey.
Anna, known as "Shotgun" Annie to friends, was always on the go and loved life and her pets. Her children said that she enjoyed grape cigars. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Judy (Tim) Smith of Pope, Mississippi, Donnie Walker of Eupora, Mississippi and Robanna Fason of Eupora, Mississippi; a brother, James Woods of Sturgis, Mississippi; two sisters, Eva (Lewis, Jr.) Redwine of Coffeeville, Mississippi and Shirley Segars of Ripley, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Tabitha Smith (Joshua) Blankenship of Pope, Mississippi, George Calvin (Rose) Smith of Batesville, Mississippi, Eddie Boatman of Jackson, Mississippi, Daniel Boatman of Jackson, Mississippi, Robert (Amber) Oliver of Pensacola, Florida, and Benjamin (Jennifer) Oliver of Eupora, Mississippi; and three great-grandchildren, Mia Doering, Avery Kate Smith, and Paige Boatman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George McCoyle Woods and Winnie B. Massey; a son, George Walker; four brothers, Robert Woods, Walter Woods, K. C. Woods, and Jimmy Roberson; and one sister, Grace Stafford.
A memorial service will be held at a later date by her family. Wise Reed Funeral home assisted with all arrangements.
