Sallie Porter passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, Mississippi on September 7, 2021. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Porter and daughter of the late Lagroane and Grace Salley Pullen.
Sallie was a devout Christian and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She loved people and caring for others. Her spare time was spent doing word search puzzles and spending time with her family.
Sallie is survived by her daughter Helen (James) Hill of Eupora, Mississippi; a granddaughter, Hannah Hill of Eupora; Alana Fowler, who was a cousin but reared by Sallie like a granddaughter; and a brother, Daniel Thomas Pullen of Grenada, Mississippi.
Salley was preceded in death by her parents, O.L. (Lagroane) and Grace Salley Pullen; husband, Lloyd Porter; three brothers, John Lagroan Pullen, William Earl Pullen, and Roy Pullen; two sisters, Mary Lou Dixon and Sue Helen Thomas.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
