Bellefontaine, Mississippi

Nora Hall Green, aged 79, passed away on September 20, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late Johnny J. and Vadie Voyles Raney; and mother of Donna Kay (Bill) Skelton of Bellefontaine, Mississippi.
Nora graduated from Eupora High School in 1960. She worked as a seamstress with Kelwood Manufacturing until her retirement. Her hobbies were working in the yard, cooking, sewing, and reading. The times that she spent with her grand babies were some of the best times of her life. Her grandsons knew their grandmother always had a running “to do” list for them; and they were sure to get it done after some reminding. She loved being out with people and going to church until she was disabled. She was a member of Walthall Baptist Church.
Nora is survived by her husband, Wayne Green of Bellefontaine, Mississippi; a daughter, Donna Kay (Bill) Skelton of Bellefontaine, Mississippi; a sister, Gearldine Rimmer of Calhoun City, Mississippi; two grandsons, Brad (Jessica) Skelton and Kacey (Mallory) Skelton; four great grandchildren, Whitley Skelton, Ginny Rose Skelton, Collins Skelton, and Mary Atley Skelton; and a special niece, Penny Santiago.
Nora is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny J. and Vadie Voyles Raney; a brother, Johnnie Raney, Jr.; and three sisters, Julia Brassfield, Louise Keko, and Jessie Pearl Barlow.
