Obituary for Naioma Kennedy Lamb

Naioma Kennedy Lamb

Eupora, Mississippi

Naioma Kennedy Lamb, aged 72, passed away on December 4, 2021 at University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Loraine Kennedy Grimes and mother of Kelly Lamb.
Naioma lived in the Tomnolen Community of Webster County for over forty-four years. She began working in Eupora Schools as the secretary bookkeeper. In the 1980s she became the Director of Food Services for Webster County where she served until her retirement in 2011. She filled many jobs in every area…typing programs from various events at Eupora School, using her beautiful calligraphy on certificates and diplomas, and assisting in many other school activities. Naioma was a past president of the Eupora Twentieth Century Club, recording secretary for the Webster Baptist Association, chairman of the Webster County Democratic party, and active member of the Tomnolen Baptist Church. She loved life and participated fully in all activities. She enjoyed her monthly Bunko games also. She had a special place in her heart for her daughter, Kelly, and grandson, Beau.
Naioma is survived by her daughter, Kelly Lamb, grandson, Beau Lamb, and sister, Judy Skinner.
Naioma is preceded in death by her mother, Loraine Kennedy Grimes.
A memorial service for Naioma Kennedy Lamb will be at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Tomnolen Baptist Church. Brother Don Parrish will officiate the services.
