Monica Herard, age 51, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, Mississippi. She was born on April 2, 1971 to Helen Ray Herard Lewis and the late, Claude Daniel Herard.
Monica was a lifetime resident of Eupora, Mississippi. She was a big Ole Miss football fan and loved cheering them on. Some of her favorite pastimes included sitting on the porch, watching Hallmark movies, and drinking Coke, Mtn Dew, and Tea. Her favorite thing to do was watching her nieces and nephews in all their sports and activities. She was a member of Walthall Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Ray Herard Lewis (stepfather, Danny) of Eupora, Mississippi; one brother, Toll Herard (Arey) of Eupora, Mississippi; one sister, Cherrie Winter (Chad) of Eupora, Mississippi; and six nieces and nephews, Claude Herard, Edwin Herard, Patsy Herard, Estra Herard, Lillian Winter, and Landry Winter.
She is preceded in death by her father, Claude Daniel Herard.
A funeral service for Monica Herard will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Wise Reed Funeral Home in Eupora, Mississippi at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Wise Reed Funeral Home in Eupora, Mississippi. Officiating the services will be Brother Mike Ramage. Pallbearers are Claude Herard, Edwin Herard, Ames Conrad, and Landry Winter. Burial will follow at Reed’s Chapel Cemetery in Stewart, Mississippi. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
