Kay Arnold Perego

Kay Arnold Perego, aged 76, passed away at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Mississippi on August 5, 2021. He was the husband of the late Bonita Simmons Perego.

Kay was retired from the United States Air Force. He was formerly from Huntington, WV. He lived in Bellefontaine, Mississippi where he attended Fellowship Baptist Church. After graduating from Huntington East High School, he attended Marshall University and received an Associate Degree. He worked with the City of Huntington Fire Department and retired as a Deputy Chief.

He is survived by a god daughter and caregiver, Desirae Graves wife of Wesley Graves of Como, Mississippi; a daughter, Jill Williams wife of Douglas Scott Williams of Proctorville, Ohio; a son, Todd C. Perego of Morristown, TN; a niece, Mary Foster wife of Jason Foster and a sister-in-law, Shirley Perego of Ona, West Virginia; and grandchildren, Gabriel Williams, Matthew Williams, Grace Perego, and Madelynn Perego.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonita Simmons Perego and a brother, Hartley James Perego.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all services.
